Our story
ToyShopNYC started where most good things in Brooklyn start — a small idea, a smaller storefront, and a stubborn belief that kids deserve better toys than what most stores offer.
What started as one small shop is now two locations across Brooklyn — both run by people who actually play with what they sell.
What we stand for
Quality over quantity. Our shelves don't carry everything — they carry what's worth it. Every toy on our site has been picked, tested, and approved by us first. If we wouldn't give it to our own kids, it's not here.

Online + in-store
Our two Brooklyn shops are open 7 days a week — come browse, play, ask questions, get gift recommendations from people who actually know the inventory. You can also order online and pick up in-store the same day, or have it shipped anywhere in the US (free over $100).
A note from us
This isn't a side hustle for us — it's our whole thing. We spend our days watching kids try toys, talking to parents about what their kid loves (and what they don't), and arguing with each other about which new release deserves shelf space. The best part of this job is when a parent comes back a month later to tell us their kid hasn't put it down.
